Ramayana Makers Strike Rs 75 Cr Music Deal With T-Series?

As reported by HT, industry insiders reveal that the deal was highly competitive, with top labels vying for the soundtrack rights. After several rounds of negotiations, T-Series secured the rights with an advance of Rs 75 crore. Interestingly, this was a refundable advance, making the deal quite unique despite its massive value. A T-Series representative expressed confidence in the soundtrack’s potential, emphasizing the significance of the deal.

This acquisition marks one of the largest music rights deals in Indian cinema, with Oscar-winning composers A.R. Rahman and Hans Zimmer collaborating on the film—an unprecedented partnership for an Indian feature.

Ramayana Trailer Launch

The trailer for Ramayana will be unveiled globally on July 30 at 4:15 am IST, coinciding with Brahma Muhurat, an auspicious time in Indian tradition. The makers shared the announcement on social media, welcoming the dawn of the film’s journey with the trailer release.

Directed by Nitesh Tiwari and produced by Namit Malhotra, the film features a star-studded cast including Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama, Sai Pallavi as Sita, Yash as Ravana, Sunny Deol as Lord Hanuman, and Ravie Dubey as Lakshman. Ramayana is planned as a two-part series, with the first installment releasing during Diwali 2026 and the second part scheduled for Diwali 2027, promising a grand mythological spectacle for audiences.
