Actor Ranvir Shorey’s son Haroon has finally tested negative for Covid-19. On Tuesday (January 4), Ranvir said his son has tested negative for coronavirus. He updated about his child’s health and thanked everyone for their good wishes on Instagram. Shorey wrote in his post, “As was the case with me, my son has tested negative about a week later. It’s been an ordeal, but we are finally free again! Thanks to everyone for their good wishes”. Haroon is Ranvir’s son from his ex-wife Konkona Sensharma.

On December 28, Ranvir informed that Haroon tested positive during their routine RT-PCR test as they were to take a flight back to Mumbai from Goa.

Earlier, Ranvir shared a series of posts where he said that he and his son were ‘hounded out of’ their room in the hotel they were quarantined. This was after his son was diagnosed with Covid-19. He wrote, “People who wanted selfies until a day before were blackmailing the hotel for discounts and refunds, because we were in one of the rooms! Will always remember this experience. It makes me wonder if the world deserves honesty at all.”

The Covid-19 cases are witnessing a spike. On Monday, Mumbai reported 8,082 COVID-19 cases and two deaths. 40 new cases of the new coronavirus variant Omicron, were reported from the city, according to the Maharashtra government’s health department.

On the professional front, Ranvir Shorey will be seen in action thriller Mumbaikar and Salman Khan-starrer Tiger 3.
