Actress Raveena Tandon’s father Ravi Tandon left for his heavenly abode on February 11. He was 85. Reportedly, he had lung fibrosis and passed away due to respiratory failure at his residence at 3:45 am. He was a film director and a producer. Raveena shared the news on social media as she mourned his demise. She shared a few throwback pics with her dad and penned an emotional note. It read: “You will always walk with me , I will always be you, I’m never letting go. Love you papa”.

Several celebrities like, Juhi Chawla, Neelam Kothari among others offered condolences. Juhi Chawla wrote, “Heartfelt condolences to you and your family Raveena. May his soul rest in peace. Om Shanti.”
For the unversed, Ravi Tandon has helmed films like Khel Khel Mein, Anhonee, Khuddar, Majboor and Zindagi among others.
Last year, Raveena celebrated her father’s birthday. The actress gave a glimpse of his intimate birthday celebration as she shared several photos and videos from his cake cutting ceremony and a family get-together. Raveena’s mother Veena, husband Anil Thadani, daughter Rasha were also present.
