Raveena Tandon Reveals Saying ‘Sorry’ To Yami Gautam After Watching Dhurandhar – Here’s Why

Released on December 5, 2025, Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar has been impressing millions across the globe and how. After now it looks like the Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna-led spy action thriller has got itself a new fan, and it’s none other than actress Raveena Tandon. During a recent chat, the senior actress revealed that after watching the blockbuster, she immediately called Yami Gautam and apoloigised to her. Read on to know all about their interaction.

During her appearance on a Zoom Spotlight podcast session, Raveena Tandon revealed that after watching Dhurandhar, she immediately called Yami Gautam and apologised. Greatly impressed by the film – that went on to become a major box-office success both in India and for an Indian film overseas, she decided to personally reach out to the actress and praise her filmmaker husband.

Raveena said, “I saw Dhurandhar and I called Yami Gautam and said, ‘I am sorry. I am the biggest fan of your husband. You have to share my attention with your husband because I think he is completely it.’ He completely brought back what was missing. The audience got satisfaction after seeing films like Pushpa, KGF, Dhurandhar and more. They felt like the hero was looking like a hero. It is coming back to your country, its problems and dealing with it. Hero is coming out as a hero.”

During the same interaction, Raveena Tandon was informed that Ranveer Singh considers himself one of her biggest fans. Reacting to this news with amusement, the ‘KGF Chapter 2’ actress said, “He was a 10-year-old when he came to see me doing a sensuous song. I loved him in Dhurandhar. Aditya is a genius. He is beyond the word mind blowing. Sanjay and Akshaye were so outstanding. Sara was so brilliant. Rakesh Bedi sir and Gaurav Gera were amazing.”

Alongside Ranveer Singh, the film also starred Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Rakesh Bedi and Sara Arjun in pivotal roles. The film struck a chord with audiences and has been creating box office records both domestically and internationally. As per the reports, it is the highest-grossing Indian film at the domestic box office with an earning of Rs 890 crore. It worldwide collection currently stands at around Rs 1,400 crore.

Its sequel – Dhurandhar – The Revenge, will release in theatres globally on March 19. Unlike the first part, part 2 will be available in 5 languages – Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam.
