Renuka Shahane pens a heart-touching obituary for Reema Lagoo

Reema Lagoo, a beautiful face with a clean heart, she was the epitome of an ideal mother image and carved a successful path in the world of films with her endearing persona and fabulous performances. Today morning, the entire industry met with the saddening news of her untimely demise due to a cardiac arrest. Bollywood has been mourning over the loss and many celebs like Aamir Khan, Kiran Rao, Kajol, Rishi Kapoor attended her last rites. One of her closest co-actor and friend, Renuka Shahane who played the role of her daughter in ‘Hum Aapke Hain Koun’ has written a heart-touching obituary reminiscing their beautiful equation and the good ol’ days together. “Reema Tai….the first time I met you, many, many years before I got to work with you in films, was at your home. You had made amazing “matkichi usal”. I couldn’t take my eyes off you…..you were so beautiful. Then I saw you on stage….” Savita Damodar Paranjape” ” Ghar Tighancha Hava”….you were outstanding…..what an immensely powerful actress you were on stage! I was in awe of you….a huge fan. I wouldn’t have imagined I would get the opportunity to work with you a few years down the line.”
