Rhea Chakraborty admits she was ‘procuring drugs’; summoned by NCB again on September 7

Today morning Rhea Chakraborty was summoned by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in its drug cartel probe. Joint Director of NCB Sameer Wankhede also reached Rhea’s residence to summon her and after leaving Rhea’s residence, he confirmed “Summon has been given to Rhea. She was at her home.” After more than 6 hours of grilling by the NCB, Rhea has left its office. She is again summoned by the NCB tomorrow for investigation.

As per a report in Times of India, during the interrogation, Rhea said, “I procured drugs but never consumed them.”

Rhea Chakraborty’s brother Showik and Sushant’s house manager Samuel Miranda are arrested and they have been sent to 4-day NCB custody till September 9.

As per reports, NCB sources said that Showik has allegedly confessed that he had procured drugs on the instructions of his sister Rhea Chakraborty. Showik also claimed that Rhea had allegedly asked him and Samuel Miranda to procure drugs and also he was in contact with several other drug peddlers.

Dipesh Sawant, Sushant’s house help, who was arrested yesterday night has confessed that he had witnessed Sushant smoking marijuana in September 2018. Dipesh has also claimed that on March 13 he was told to get drugs by Rhea’s brother Showik for which he accompanied Samuel Miranda to procure drugs. He has also alleged procuring drugs for Rhea on April 17. Dipesh is also under NCB custody till September 9.
