RIP Wendell Rodricks: Bollywood celebs mourn the death of renowned fashion designer and activist

The sudden death of fashion designer Wendell Rodricks took us by surprise. Reportedly, heart attack was the cause of his death. He was just 59 at the time of death. Rodricks took his last breath at his Goa residence in Colvale.

His death is a great loss not only for the fashion industry but also for the entire society as he was a social activist who fought for gay rights and environmental. Bollywood celebs like Arjun Rampal, Nimrat Kaur and Pooja Bedi among others have mourned the death of Rodricks on social media.

Arjun Rampal tweeted, “This is such sad sad news, a beautiful human and such a talented designer, the fashion industry and the world has lost today. It was such joy whenever I met him. His smile always made me smile,you will be missed Wendell. Condolences and prayers for all ur loved ones”.

Pooja Bedi is also saddened to hear the news of his death.

Union Minister for Women and Child Development and Textiles, Smriti Irani was also shocked to hear about the untimely demise of Wendell Rodricks. She tweeted, “My heartfelt condolences to his loved ones. May his soul rest in peace.”

The funeral will be held at 4 pm tomorrow at Colvale.
