Rishi Kapoor's last message

Rishi Kapoor was quite vocal on social media and he never minced his words whenever he used to see anything wrong. Sometimes, he was even politically incorrect but never stopped putting forward his opinions. As India is under lockdown, the actor used to create awareness of COVID-19 and many times he urged people to follow safety measures and stay home and safe.

His last tweet was about how India should fight unitedly against the coronavirus war.

On April 2, Rishi Kapoor tweeted, “An appeal Folded hands to all brothers and sisters from all social status and faiths. Please don’t resort to violence,stone throwing or lynching. Doctors,Nurses,Medics, Policemen etc..are endangering their lives to save you. We have to win this Coronavirus war together. Please. Jai Hind!Flag of India”(sic).

Rishi Kapoor was taken to H N Reliance hospital by his family on Wednesday (April 29). His brother Randhir Kapoor had informed saying, “He is hospitalised. Neetu is by his side. He is not well.” 

Today morning, Amitabh Bachchan was the first one to break the news on Twitter. Later, Rishi Kapoor’s family released an official statement stating that the actor passed away due to leukemia.
