B-town is full of couples who are made for each other. Ranbir Kapoor’s parents – Rishi and Neetu – are among those couples who teach us life lessons. The veteran actor has been living in United States for his cancer treatment. He hopes to come back home in Mumbai soon. He also revealed how Neetu stood with him during his tough time.

Off late, while speaking to Mid-Day, Rishi Kapoor mentioned how he hopes to be a part of Ganpati celebrations this year. He also spoke about how his wife stood with him during this tough phase. Expressing his gratitude towards his friends and family, he said, “I have learned to remain calm with my family and fans. I owe it to them; they have given me so much love and sent good wishes. Neetu has been my rock and has shouldered all the responsibilities. So has been my family, who would drop in to give me the strength to battle my illness.”

Celebrating Ganpati is a family tradition. So, I am hoping to be part of it,” he concluded saying. Festivities of Ganesh Chaturthi will be starting from September 2nd. That means that the actor might come back to his Mumbai house very soon.

Last year, on September 29th, the actor took to his Twitter handle and announced that he would be taking a small break from work. He didn’t reveal anything about the ailment then.
