Rishi Kapoor Prithviraj Kapoor

Bollywood actor Rishi Kapoor is known for his straight talk and goes by the principle of calling a spade a spade. The father of Ranbir Kapoor doesn’t mince his words and is currently in the USA. Rishi has now been cured of cancer and has been meeting quite a few people from Bollywood in recent times.

Now, Rishi took to his Twitter account and paid his tribute to his grandfather Prithviraj Kapoor on his death anniversary. The ‘Bobby’ actor wrote, “To the man who left us today 49 years back. My grandfather Prithviraj Kapoor.” If we go by the reports, Prithviraj Kapoor died on May 29, 1971 (it should be 48 years).

Prithviraj Kapoor was a legend and he is still being held in high regard due to his outstanding work. The patriarch of the Kapoor family acted in the classic ‘Mughal-e-Azam’. The Government of India honoured Prithviraj with the Padma Bhushan in 1969 and the Dadasaheb Phalke Award in 1971 for his contribution towards Indian cinema.

Meanwhile, Rishi Kapoor could be returning to India pretty soon. Stay tuned to Bollywood Bubble for all the latest news and updates.
