Riteish Deshmukh highlights a loophole in airport security; says, “Its a tragedy waiting to happen”

Bollywood actor Riteish Deshmukh, who is gearing for the release of his films ‘Marjaavan’ and ‘Housefull 4’, drew the attention of his fans after highlighting a loophole in the security system of Hyderabad Airport. The actor said, “It’s a tragedy waiting to happen.”

Riteish Deshmukh took to his Twitter handle and shared a video today (28th May) from the Hyderabad Airport. The actor highlighted how the emergency exit gates were locked and chained. Being a responsible citizen, the actor shared two videos on his Twitter handle – one highlighting the chained exit gates and the other video revealing how the security personnel refused to  give permission to open the emergency gates. Responding to the actor’s tweet, the Hyderabad Airport authorities immediately responded.

Hi Riteish, thank you for your valuable observation. In the current set up, there is a manual lock – the key is placed in a box next to the glass door and can be accessed in case of an emergency. (1/2)
