Filmmaker Rohit Shetty has strongly denied recent media reports of making a horror film with actress Nushrratt Bharuccha. The false news quickly spread online, saying that Shetty was working with director E Niwas on a supernatural film — a big change from his usual action-packed movies.

However, Shetty’s production house has now issued a clear statement calling the reports “false and baseless.” As per News18, the official statement from Shetty’s production house read, “A story is doing the rounds claiming that Rohit Shetty is working on a horror film with Nushrratt Bharuccha and E Niwas. This news is completely false and baseless.”
The statement added, “We request the media to kindly reach out to us for verification before rehashing or publishing any stories related to Rohit Shetty or his production house to avoid circulation of inaccurate news.”
Nushrratt Bharuccha And Rohit Shetty Collaboration Rumours
Rohit Shetty had been interested in horror for a while and had chosen Nushrratt Bharuccha for a spooky film he wanted to produce as per reports. It was also said that E Niwas would direct the movie, which would focus on a woman facing mysterious supernatural events connected to a hidden secret. The movie was reportedly in the early stages, with the script and casting still being worked on.
About Rohit And Nushrratt’s Work Front
Rohit Shetty’s latest direction was Singham Again, starring Ajay Devgn. The Diwali release also featured Kareena Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, Arjun Kapoor, and Ranveer Singh. The film was produced by Jio Studios, Reliance Entertainment, Cinergy, Devgn Films, Rohit Shetty Picturez.
On the other hand, Nushrratt was last seen in Chhorii 2, directed by Vishal Furia and produced by Abundantia Entertainment, Crypt TV, T-Series and Pshych Film.
