‘Dil Bechara’ is releasing on July 24 at 7:30 pm on Disney+Hotstar. From critics to the crew, the cast of the film to the fans, everyone is eagerly waiting for tomorrow. This Mukesh Chhabra’s debut directorial is not just a movie for us now, but an ’emotion’ connected to late Sushant Singh Rajput. Sahil Vaid is playing a pivotal character named JP, Kizie (Sanjana Sanghi) and Manny’s (Sushant Singh Rajput) best friend. He too is looking forward to watch the movie.

From the trailer, it is obvious that JP, Kizie and Manny share a special bond. Talking about his role, Sahil told us, “I’m glad that I got ‘Dil Bechara’ because JP is not just a funny person. He has a lot of substance. There are scenes which will make you laugh, cry, and there are scenes that will make you fall in love with three of them.”

Sahil is happy that Sushant is getting the love that he deserves adding, “The beauty about the film is that that there are honest performances and we figured out from the first reading how the film is going to turn out. It’s all heart.”

Sahil is also a theatre artiste and he works with actors like Naseeruddin Shah. We have seen him in movies like ‘Bittoo Boss’, ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’, ‘Bank Chor’ and ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’. He played a villain in ‘Bank Chor’ but it didn’t work. People loved him in his comedy roles. Sahil said that it’s his personal tragedy that his funny films have worked and serious characters haven’t. It saddens him that people don’t imagine him in different characters or roles. So, he is happy that ‘Dil Bechara’ happened to him.

Apart from, ‘Dil Bechara’, Sahil will be seen in ‘Coolie No. 1’ that has Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan and ‘Shershaah’ that has Sidharth Malhotra.
