Saif Ali Khan gave a warning to Kareena Kapoor Khan for Jaane Jaan and it is about her co-stars

Kareena Kapoor Khan is playing the role of Maya D’Souza in the upcoming suspense-thriller Jaane Jaan. The actress will be seen sharing screen space with Vijay Varma and Jaideep Ahlawat in the same. The Jaane Jaan trailer was released by the makers on Tuesday. It has received a good response from the netizens.

Well, at the trailer launch of the film, Kareena Kapoor spilled the beans on her role in Jaane Jaan. During the interaction, Kareena Kapoor also shared that Saif Ali Khan gave her a warning and it is related to her co-stars Vijay Varma and Jaideep Ahlawat.

Kareena recalls husband Saif’s warning

The actress said, “They intimidated me because they were so prepared. Saif had already told me ‘listen, this is not ke tum van se seedha makeup karke seedhe set pe jaake dialogue bologe (This is not something where you do your makeup and go to the sets to say your dialogues). He’s like please stop this attitude because you’re working with Jaideep Ahalwat and Vijay Varma. Be prepared. They are going to be improvising and doing their thing. I was like, ‘ya ya ya.’ So, he was like you better be on your toes. He had warned me. He told me stop being a back bencher and I was like yes.”

Kareena further showered Vijay and Jaideep with praises. She added, “I was also on my toes and I was so happy that I was because I think an actor should constantly be threatened by other actors on sets. We were all so prepared.”

To this, Vijay joked, “I want to thank Saif Ali Khan because agar woh nahi hote toh inko pata bhi nahi hota ki kaun hai ye ladke (laughs).”

The trailer gave us a glimpse of Kareena’s chemistry with Vijay and Jaideep. Kareena pays Maya D’Souza who is in an abusive relationship. Vijay plays the role of Karan, a cop who is investigating Maya’s missing husband. On the other hand, Jaideep plays Naren, Maya’s neighbour. Directed by Sujoy Ghosh, Jaane Jaan is slated to release on 21^st September on Netflix.
