Saif Ali Khan on rumours of being offered Race 4: ‘nobody has offered Race to me’ 

Actor Saif Ali Khan has been an integral part of the Race franchise; however, he was not part of the previous instalment which tanked at the box office. Besides this, there have been rumours that Race will come with its fourth instalment and this time with the OG hero, Saif Ali Khan. As rumours were making noise on social media, the actor who is basking in praises for his recently released film, Bhoot Police dismissed the rumours of being a part of Race 4 as he said that no one has offered him the project yet. He also mentioned that Ramesh Taurani, the producer would be the better person to answer it.

Clarifying about the rumours of being offered Race 4, the Adipurush actor told Pinkvilla, “God knows. I have stopped thinking about these things. I was wondering what can be done with Race as sequels are so difficult to come with. You should ask Ramesh Ji, if he has the plans to continue it in a different direction. I don’t know if Race 4 makes…. We need to see what the script is and anyway, nobody has offered Race to me. Ramesh Ji is the best person to ask.”

He even spoke about the sequel of Bhoot Police which also Arjun Kapoor, Yami Gautam and Jacqueline Fernandez, “I am looking forward to some meetings with the production house to find out the future they are seeing in the Bhoot Police franchise and the direction they are looking to take it in. There’s a lot of potential. One can send these guys on any kind of adventure with all kinds of supernatural crazy things happening around.” 

He added, “If we can nail the kid-friendly space of horror-comedy, (it would be amazing). I have got a small son and I am more conscious in getting that genre right. He (Taimur) liked the film too.”

Nevertheless, Saif Ali Khan is now gearing up to essay the role of demon King, Ravan in Om Raut’s Adipurush. This is the second time he is collaborating with the director who had previously helmed Tanhaji The Unsung Warrior. Adipurush also features Prabhas as Lord Ram, Kriti Sanon as Sita and Sunny Singh as Laxman.
