Saif Ali Khan Reveals Jeh Was Hurt During Knife Attack; Gets Called ‘Real-Life Hero” By Akshay Kumar, Kajol, Twinkle Khanna

In a gripping new episode of Two Much with Kajol & Twinkle on Prime Video, Akshay Kumar called Saif Ali Khan ‘a real-life hero’ after the actor recounted vivid detail of the night he fought off an armed intruder in his own home. For the unversed, during the wee hours of January 16, 2025, an intruder broke into Khan’s Bandra home, where his family was asleep. During the confrontation, the actor was stabbed multiple times, including two significant wounds near his spine.

During his appearance on the talk show, the ‘Jewel Thief’ actor described how an ordinary evening turned into a life-threatening struggle. He also revealed he wasn’t the only family member to sustain injuries during the interaction. Scroll below to know the details.

Saif Ali Khan Shares Vivid Details Of Knife Attack Night

Recalling the night he was attacked in his own home with a knife, Saif Ali Khan said, “We had just gone to sleep and Kareena had been out. I finished watching a movie with the boys and they’d gone to sleep and everything. It was actually quite late — two o’clock or something in the morning. Kareena came back, we had a small chat and then, you know, went to sleep. And then the maid came in and she said, ‘There’s someone in Jeh Baba’s room. He has a knife in his hand. He wants money.’

Stating that he reacted instinctively, the ‘Race’ actor continued, “I kind of just heard that and rolled out of bed. I barged into Jeh’s room in the dark and I saw this guy standing over his bed with a knife. He was not pointing it at him, but he touched him. He had cut him later, because the nurse was trying to talk to him. Jay got a little nick here, and the sister got a nick on her hand. He was kind of poking the knife at them. I saw this guy and I thought he’s smaller than me, which means he’s not very large. I jumped on him — which Jeh later told me was a big mistake. He said I should have punched him or kicked him or something. But I jumped, and we started this fight.”

Saif: There Was Blood Everywhere

What followed, Saif said, was a terrifying hand-to-hand struggle. Shedding detail of the altercation, the ‘Parineeta’ actor said, “He had these two knives and he just started slashing all over at me. I tried to remember my training, and I blocked a couple here, and then I felt this thump in my back that was really hard. We started fighting and rolling. The kids were out, everyone was out of the room. Geeta helped me in this struggle — she pushed this guy off me and pretty much saved, I think, my life at that point, because he had cut me everywhere, my neck and back.”

Saif Ali Khan continued, “There was blood everywhere. We locked him in the room. I remembered, I said, ‘I need a weapon of some sort.’ There are two swords we have hanging on the wall upstairs outside the dining room. So me and Hari, another help, went and grabbed them. But I couldn’t walk properly. I was feeling I’d been stabbed in the leg, but actually I’d been nicked in the spine. And Kareena said, ‘I think we should go to hospital. I’m going to take Jay to my sister’s.’

The shocking story left Akshay Kumar visibly moved. Calling Saif “a real-life hero,” he praised his presence of mind and courage in putting himself between the attacker and his family. Kajol and Twinkle agreed, saying Saif’s account revealed “what true bravery looks like off screen.”
