Salman Khan Extends Support To Sooraj Pancholi On Return To Big Screens With Kesari Veer; Shares, “Abhi Raat Hai, Subah…”

Sooraj Pancholi marked his much-awaited return to the silver screens with Kesari Veer, an anticipated historical war drama. Extending support to his promising return, Salman Khan took to his social media handle to give a shoutout to the Hero actor. He shared a montage-style video featuring throwback images of himself with Sooraj Pancholi, set with ‘Hero’ song Main Hoon Hero Tera, which was also sung by Salman

Salman Khan showed his support for Sooraj Pancholi by posting a photo on Instagram. The picture showed the two actors wearing black outfits, and Salman added a motivating caption: “Abhi raat hai, subah Sooraj chamkega @soorajpancholi,” which means, “It’s night now, but the sun (Sooraj) will shine in the morning.”

Sooraj quickly responded in the comments with, “Love u sir!!!!” showing his gratitude. Salman also included the song Main Hoon Hero Tera in his post. This song is from the 2015 film Hero, which Salman produced. He also sang the song and made a special appearance in the movie. Hero marked Sooraj’s debut in Bollywood alongside Athiya Shetty.

Salman And Sooraj Bond

Salman has supported Sooraj for many years, even during difficult times. Sooraj was accused in the suicide case of his late girlfriend. However, he was recently cleared of all charges.

In an earlier interview with Bollywood Bubble, Sooraj shared how Salman stood by him. “Salman sir asked me one question—‘Did you do anything wrong?’ I said no, and he never doubted me after that. He trusted me,” Sooraj said. He also mentioned that Salman understood the pain of being judged by the media.

Sooraj explained how hard it was to go through the legal system and be judged by the public. “I was proven not guilty, but no one reported that. The media didn’t support me,” he added.

Now, Sooraj is returning to the big screen with Kesari Veer, a film based on the life of Veer Hamirji Gohil, a warrior who defended the Somnath Temple from the Tughlaq Empire. This marks Sooraj’s first major role after years of legal battles.

Marking a significant return, Sooraj Pancholi stepped into an uncharted territory of a war spectacle. The film features him as an unsung warrior Hamirji Gohil, which showcases the bravery and valour of a Rajput prince. The story revolves around the battle of Somnath temple, wherein warriors fought valiantly and sacrificed their lives to protect the Somnath temple from invading forces.

Marking a significant point in his flourishing career, Sooraj Pancholi shares the screen space for the first time with Suniel Shetty, Vivek Oberoi and Akanksha Sharma. With Kesari Veer, he has not only shattered the image of a loverboy, but has entered a new zone of a historical character.
