Sajid Nadiadwala’s directorial debut ‘Kick’ was a huge hit at the box-office. It is finally confirmed that the film will be back with a sequel to win fans’ hearts once again. There have been specualtions about ‘Kick 2’ since the past many years. Now finally, it’s been revealed that Sajid Nadiadwala has completed the first draft of the action-comedy film.
As ‘Kick’ completes five years of its release, the makers of the movie took to their social media to post a throwback BTS video of the film.
“Since Kick was a much-loved film, Sajid and his writing team is taking things extremely slow, to ensure that part two lives up to the expectations of the audience…There have been several brain-storming sessions to lock the premise of the story, which carries forward the franchise. They have finally zeroed in on the idea,” said a source close to the development to Mumbai Mirror. The reports also say that the pre-production stage has already started and the movie is to go on floors in 2020.
In the same Mumbai Mirror story, Sajid Nadiadwala also confirmed that he is working on the sequel. He said, “It’s a nostalgic day for me. I have started penning down the second instalment. The first draft is ready. The second draft is in its initial stage. I’m excited for this journey to begin as much as fans are to witness it. The Devil will return soon.”
Well, fans are eagerly waiting for the ‘Devil’ to return and to see Salman Khan back with his notorious kickass look. It will simply be a treat for sore eyes.
