It is no secret that Salman Khan has always been forward when it comes to charity. The actor has always made sure to support others in need and never flaunted about it. Currently, due to the outbreak of Coronavirus, the economy of the country is gone for a toss and it has affected the daily wage workers the most. Bollywood celebrities have been doing their best at helping these workers by making donations. Salman Khan is also supporting these workers by providing for them during this hour of crisis.

According to a report by Pinkvilla, Salman will be supporting over 25,000 daily wage workers from various crafts of the film industry. An industry source told Pinkvilla, “Salman Khan has always been there for workers and that is a known fact to all of us.” Salman Khan’s NGO has been providing for people with their education and medical needs.

Salman also has been spreading as much awareness as possible about COVID-19 and the lockdown in India through his social media account.

Bollywood celebs such as Akshay Kumar, Hrithik Roshan, Hema Malini, Rajinikanth, and few others have also made the donations for India’s fight against COVID-19. Varun Dhawan as well, made a donation of 55 Lakhs total between PM-CARES Fund and CM Relief Fund.

The novel Coronavirus has been spreading like wildfire all over the world and it has been declared a pandemic so these generous donations are sure to make a huge difference. People across the globe are undertaking social distancing as a precautionary measure. India has been declared under a 21-day lockdown in order to control COVID-19.
