Recalling his appearance on Big B’s Kaun Banega Crorepati in 2025, he revealed that he had lied to the actor about his grandmother being a big fan.

“Dadi mar gayi hai meri. 7 saal ho gaye hain mere dadi ko mar ke,” he said. “Waha maine kiya – Sir dadi meri aapki bhot badi fan hai,” he added. Then admitted, he only said it to “play the room.” “You are not honest on the Indian internet. You cannot be yourself. You play the game, you play the room,” Samay shared.

“Main samajhta tha, KBC mein jab ja raha tha, ki main har jagah h*rami banta hoon, yaha clean banunga na to log bolenge what a versatile creator,” he continued.

He also revealed that he had many “ulta seedha” thoughts while on the hot seat. However, the comedian chose not to voice them. Sharing an example, he said, “Sir, aapne itna polio ka ad kiya, phir bhi apne bete ko paon pe kyu nahi khada kar paye sir.”

During the show, Samay Raina opened up about the controversy that erupted after Ranveer Allahabadia, aka Beer Biceps. He asked a question deemed obscene by some viewers. Samay revealed that Ranveer had, in fact, asked that question eight times.

He also mentioned that many people questioned why he did not remove Beer Biceps’ question from the final edit of the show. Clips from his latest video are now going viral across social media platforms.
