According to news agency PTI, a man named Prateek Raj Mathur filed the complaint. He claimed that Bhansali hired him as a line producer for the film, but later removed him from the project without any payment.

Mathur said he managed all the shoot arrangements, including dealing with government offices. But when he went to meet the film crew at a hotel, he alleged that Bhansali and his team misbehaved with him.

Details Of The FIR

Based on his complaint, an FIR has been registered against Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Arvind Gill, and Utkarsh Bali. The charges include fraud, criminal conspiracy, and criminal intimidation. The case is being investigated by Bichhwal police station, under officer Govind Singh Charan, after a local court order.

About Love & War

Love & War is said to be a romantic drama set in the 1960s and 70s, during a time of conflict. Some reports suggest it might be a remake of the classic film Sangam (1964), starring Raj Kapoor, Vyjayanthimala, and Rajendra Kumar. However, Bhansali has denied those claims.

Parts of the movie were filmed at an air base in Jodhpur, adding to the speculation, since Sangam also featured Indian Air Force pilots. The film was officially announced in January 2024 and is scheduled for release on March 20, 2026.
