Aneet Padda NOT Approached For Madhubala Biopic Produced By Sanjay Leela Bhansali

For quite some time, there have been ongoing reports about Madhubala’s biopic making headlines. While fans are eager to find out who will portray the legendary actress on screen, it has now been reported that Aneet Padda has been finalised for the lead role. It is also noteworthy that the biopic is being directed by Jasmeet K. Reen, known for her work on the film Darlings.

Aneet Padda To NOT Helm Madhubala Biopic

According to a report by Filmfare, Aneet Padda has already been signed for this highly anticipated project. Although further details about the film remain under wraps, sources suggest that Aneet is set to begin shooting soon. However, a spokesperson from YRF has denied these reports to Filmfare, stating that no official casting announcements have been made yet.

According to a new report shared by Instant Bollywood, Aneet Padda has apparently not been cast in the Madhubala biopic. Their latest Instagram post reads: “Reports claiming that Aneet Padda will portray legendary star Madhubala in an upcoming biopic are completely baseless, industry sources confirm. The rumours sparked buzz among fans of the iconic screen legend, but sources clarify that no such casting or project is currently underway.”

NDTV reported that a talent spokesperson from YRF said, “It’s untrue”.

About Aneet Padda

For those unfamiliar, Aneet Padda made her appearance in a small role in the 2022 film Salaam Venky, starring Kajol. Though her part was brief, it provided her with valuable experience working on a major film set. She later made her OTT debut with the web series Big Girls Don’t Cry in 2024, which introduced her to a broader audience and showcased her acting talent.
