Padmavati release date

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Padmavati’ starring Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh has been in news for all the wrong reasons. After SLB was assaulted in Jaipur, few days ago the sets of the films were vandalised in Kolhapur, and just recently the director’s effigies were burnt in a suburb in Mumbai.

While the film is facing a lot of issues, and the shooting has been getting delayed, there have been reports doing the rounds that the movie which was slated to hit the screens on November 17, 2017, has been postponed to December 15, 2017. However, the official fan page of SLB’s production took to Twitter to clear that the film will release as per the schedule. They tweeted, “#Padmavati is releasing on 17 November 2017 No changes in release date .” (Also Read: Oh No! Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s effigies burned in Mumbai by Karni Sena)
