Not only Ranbir Kapoor, Bobby Deol and others are receiving praise for Animal, but Triptii Dimri is also garnering equal attention and love for her role in the movie. The Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial was recently released in theatres and is wreaking havoc at the box office. With Triptii’s impressive performance, she has also been termed as the ‘national crush’ by many folks.

Tripti had auditioned for her role in Animal, which also had many renowned actors auditioning for it. Sara Ali Khan was one among many to audition for Animal.

According to a report by Filmfare, Triptii Dimri was roped in for Animal which also had Sara Ali Khan in the running. Triptii’s character of Zoya in Animal comes with a twist. Triptii’s bold scene in Animal has become one of the most discussed topics. Her character is backed by a strong storyline. However, an old report by the portal states that Sara Ali Khan had also auditioned for Tripti’s role. It added that director Sandeep Reddy Vanga was not very excited with Sara’s audition and he felt that it would not be right to cast Sara for the role. On the other hand, Triptii’s performance in the audition was also loved by the Animal cast.
