The #MeToo movement has heavily affected the entire Bollywood industry. Names of many A-listed filmmakers and actors are included in the list of sexual harassment. This caused Nana Patekar and Sajid Khan’s ouster from ‘Housefull 4’. Vikas Bhal dropped out from ‘Super 30 and ’83’and casting director Vicky Sidana has also been suspended from upcoming movies ‘Batla House’ and ‘Radha Kyon Gori Main Kyon Kaala’.

Actress Sayani Gupta who was seen in movies like ‘Jolly LLB 2’, ‘Jagga Jasoos’ and many more, has come up to support the victims and the #MeToo movement. She told Indian Express, “I am so proud and I couldn’t have been prouder and happier. I am so grateful to these women who have been so courageous to have shared their experiences.”

“This should have happened 15-20 years ago. This has been happening for generations now. It just takes one person to talk about it. I am so grateful to Tanushree for starting it out,” added the actress.

Sayani also requested all the women to be cautious if they come to know that about the bad intentions of any person. “There’s a lot of responsibility when you know that the person is untrustworthy and women have the sixth sense. You can’t deny that. You know when you are talking to a man or a woman, who is acting weird or strangely or has a weird gaze, so don’t go in there. Don’t go into that room. Don’t expose yourself to an unsafe environment. What did our mothers teach us? You have to be safe,” she said.
