Shah Rukh Khan starrer Dunki marked his first collaboration with director Rajkumar Hirani. Despite its clash with Salaar, Dunki won hearts and there’s no denying that. It not only earned moolah at the box office, but it also won the hearts of the audience. Now, after a successful run at the box office, it is being reported that Shah Rukh Khan starrer Dunki might be submitted to the Oscars.

Dunki to be submitted to the Oscars?

The netizens have heaped praise on the Rajkumar Hirani directorial for perfectly portraying friendship and love to its fullest. Now, as per a report in Box Office Worldwide, Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki might be sent for Oscars nomination this year. However, it is still not known whether Dunki will be submitted as India’s official entry or in a different category at the Academy awards.

Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, Dunki featured an ensemble cast including Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal and Boman Irani among others. Dunki has showcased its exceptional run by minting Rs.200 crores at the domestic box office and over Rs.400 crores at the global box office.
