Shah Rukh Khan has an EPIC response after fans remind him to thank Salman Khan at Kuch Kuch Hota Hai screening- WATCH

Shah Rukh Khan, Rani Mukerji and Karan Johar surprised fans as they arrived at the special screening of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai to celebrate its 25 years on Sunday. Kuch Kuch Hota Hai which also stars Kajol and Salman Khan completes 25 years of its years today i.e. Monday. During the event of 25 years of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai Shah Rukh Khan gave a heartfelt speech as he thanked fans for their love.

At one point during speech, SRK also thanked the entire cast of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. While Shah Rukh Khan was mentioning his co-stars, a person from the crowd reminded him to mention Salman Khan. King Khan had an epic response to it.

SRK said, “Archana Puran Singh and a lot of other actors that I may have forgotten to mention. And all the juniors who made this lovely film.” And well, before he could finish, a person from the crowd shouted, “Salman Bhai.”

To this, Shah Rukh Khan responded saying, “Woh (Salman Khan) interval ke baad ayega, abhi interval tak speech nahi hui hai meri (He comes post interval. I’m not finished with the speech yet). Chup kar! In order of appearance mention kar raha hoon main. Rani bhi tab mention karunga jab bhoot ban ke aayegi, end mein… Yes, Salman bhai and Rani, who came as a ghost in the end again. Little kids in the film who were lovely, so many of them.”

During the event, SRK also spoke about doing love stories like Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. The actor said, “Is film ka humare liye bahut hi important makaam hai humari zindagi mein, humare dilo mein. Aap log thoda bahur samajhte ho, pura nahi samjhoge kyunki kuch kuch hota hai (this film is a very important milestone in our lives and in our hearts. You people understand this to some extent but you cannot understand it fully because there something that happens).”

It is what SRK said next that left fans screaming. The actor went on to add, “Ab pata nahi love story karu ya nahi karu, ab Jawan bachcho ko karne do (now I don’t know if I should still do a love story, let’s leave them for younger actors).”

Kuch Kuch Hota Hai released on October 16, 1998. It’s been years but the film still continues to won hearts. While SRK played the role of Rahul Khanna, Kajol starred as Anjali Sharma and Rani was seen as Tina Malhotra. Salman played the role of Aman Mehra.
