Shahid Kapoor’s much-anticipated film, the ‘Arjun Reddy’ remake, which was supposed to roll this month, has been rescheduled. If a report in Times Of India is to believe, the film directed by Sandeep Vanga, will commence on August 20. Apparently, the cause of the delay is to give the lead actor, Shahid, time to prepare for his role.

For his role in the remake of 2017 Telugu hit film ‘Arjun Reddy’, the 37-year-old, requires to sport a full-grown beard, though the director was convinced with Kapoor using an artificial one, the actor himself wasn’t comfortable in doing so. Since growing natural one would take time, the makers decided to stand by Shahid’s thought and delayed the production by a month.

Shady bugger.

Talking about the film, it is a story of a young and successful man who leaves his medical profession after a heartbreak. The complex role of Vijay Deverakonda from the original film has inspired the ‘Udta Punjab’ actor to an extent where he wants to get the minute detail of medical profession right.

Well, we are really excited to watch Shahid’s ruff and tuff look in Sandeep Vanga’s film because the last time we saw the actor in such an intense look was back in the year 2016 (Udta Punjab), wherein he portrayed the character of a ruthless musician, Tommy.
