Shahid Kapoor wants you to listen to Oprah’s speech. Here’s why

Today at 75th Golden Globes Awards, Oprah won the esteemed Cecil B. DeMille (essentially a lifetime achievement award) award. But more than this achievement what followed the same was something that moved one and all. Oprah gave out an extremely powerful speech that made everyone seated in the audience move to tears. Her speech was all about empowering women and how one needs to move over colour, race, culture and be human at the first place.

Post this speech of hers, Shahid Kapoor is highly impressed and wants each and everyone to listen to it. He took to Twitter to woot for Oprah.

Well, we so agree with him. Everyone should make an effort and listen to her speech.

On the work front, Shahid will next be seen in ‘Padmavat’ which will apparently release on January 25, after much hullabaloo and protests that halted its original release which was on December 1.
