Shalin Bhanot Talks About Newcomers Being Replaced Overnight
Speaking about how newcomers are often replaced overnight in the industry, Shalin Bhanot was asked how he tackles such challenges. Responding to it, the actor shared, “Nahi karna hi nahi hai na tackle. Kyun karna hai? Main sabko yeh bolta hoon joh bhi newcomer aata hai aur mujhse poochta hai ki bhai main Jabalpur ka hoon, Banaras ka hoon, abhi main Lucknow mein tha toh wahan ek ladka mila mujhe, bolta hai mujhe actor banna hai, industry mein aana hai. Toh main sabko yeh bolta hoon ki apne acting career ke tum sabse best phase mein ho. Ek newcomer joh hota hai, woh apne acting career ke sabse behtareen phase mein hota hai kyunki usse neeche nahi ja sakta, usko koi nahi jaanta.”
He continued, “So you are at the best phase of your acting career when you have not done anything. Ek toh aap bilkul organic ho. Hum log aaj bahut saari cheezon se jud gaye hain — Instagram, followers, influence, lekin joh actor pehli baar acting karne aa raha hai na, uske paas koi reference point nahi hai. Woh bilkul chhutta saand hai. Woh bina jhijhak kisi ko bhi message kar sakta hai — ‘Hello Karan sir, this is Sachin, I’m an actor, I would love to work with you.’ Isme kya bura hai?”
Shalin concluded, “Hum log ab sochte hain ki message kaise draft karein ki saamne wale ko intrusion na lage. But newcomers ke paas woh darr nahi hota. Aur dekho, jeevan ka niyam hai ki khaane wale 10 hain aur roti sirf 2. Kabhi kisi ko roti milti hai, kabhi nahi milti. So joh na mile uske baare mein mat socho. Woh kisi aur ka tha.”
Freddy Daruwala Opens Up About The Reality Of Newcomers Getting Replaced Overnight
To this, Freddy Daruwala added, “Yeh rejection actually rejection nahi hai. Bachpan se sabko bataya jaata hai ki log sab kuch cheen sakte hain, lekin jo aapki taqdeer mein hai, woh koi nahi cheen sakta. Industry mein yeh baat bilkul sach hai. Agar kisi aur ko role mila, toh woh usi ka tha. Aap sirf zariya the. Aur replacement aaj kahaan nahi hota? Joote fit nahi ho rahe toh badal dete hain. Har cheez ka replacement hai. Yahi professionalism hai. Aapko itna sharp banna hai ki aapka replacement na ho.”
