As per a news in Pinkvilla, a fort is built at the Film City, Goregaon in Mumbai. Around 200-300 men were involved in making the massive fort and it took almost two months to get it perfectly done. ‘Shamshera’ is an action adventure drama, set in the 1800s and it’s about a dacoit tribe.

Produced by YRF, the movie is helmed by Karan Malhotra. YRF and Ranbir are collaborating after 9 long years.  The makers announced the film on Twitter in May this year.

Earlier in an interview with Deccan Chronicle, the ‘Sanju’ actor gave details of his character. He said, “It’s definitely a very aggressive, intense and angry character. It is set in the 1800s and it’s about a dacoit tribe who is fighting for their rights and independence.”

We are looking forward to Ranbir’s new avatar in the upcoming flick. Stay tuned for more updates on the same.
