‘Shamshera’: Ranbir Kapoor gets a huge fort built for his action adventure drama
After basking in the success of ‘Sanju’, Ranbir Kapoor has a couple of big films-‘Brahmastra’ and ‘Shamshera’. The Bulgaria schedule of ‘Brahmastra’ is wrapped up and now ‘Shamshera’ has gone into floors. As per reports, there was also a puja held with entire cast and crew at YRF. Now the latest buzz suggests that makers have built a huge set to shoot the movie which is touted to be a magnum opus. The movie also stars Vaani Kapoor.
As per a news in Pinkvilla, a fort is built at the Film City, Goregaon in Mumbai. Around 200-300 men were involved in making the massive fort and it took almost two months to get it perfectly done. ‘Shamshera’ is an action adventure drama, set in the 1800s and it’s about a dacoit tribe.
Here are the pictures of the set.
Produced by YRF, the movie is helmed by Karan Malhotra. YRF and Ranbir are collaborating after 9 long years. The makers announced the film on Twitter in May this year.
