Shilpa Shetty’s businessman husband Raj Kundra summoned by ED in money laundering case

Actress and fitness enthusiast Shilpa Shetty is married to businessman Raj Kundra. As per the latest reports, Raj has been summoned by Enforcement Directorate (ED) in a money laundering case. The ED will question Raj in connection with the property deals related to underworld don Dawood Ibrahim’s close aide late Iqbal Mirchi.

News agency ANI shared an update on the case. Their post read, “Enforcement Directorate (ED) summons businessman & actor Shilpa Shetty’s husband, Raj Kundra on 4th November in connection with the matter related to underworld don Iqbal Mirchi.”

Talking about the summon issued to Kundra, a senior Enforcement Directorate personnel told IANS, “The agency has got the details of a real estate firm named RKW Developers Private Limited, whose director was Bindra, and it had transactions with Essential Hospitality Limited where actress Shilpa Shetty is one of the directors.”

Reportedly Ranjeet Bindra is not only a close aide of Iqbal Mirchi but also the director of Raj Kundra’s company Bastian Hospitality. Bindra has already been arrested for his alleged role in the money laundering case.
