Shah Rukh Khan

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan was recently detained at Los Angeles airport in the US. The actor is certainly disappointed over the incident, but he took it sportingly and joked about it on twitter. Meanwhile, the Shiv Sena feels that SRK should have returned to India immediately after the ‘insult’.

“This has been a common occurrence with Shah Rukh at most big US airports. Still, this tolerant actor goes to the US repeatedly, only to get insulted,” an editorial in Saamana, the mouthpiece of Shiv Sena read.

“He should have returned, displaying patriotic credentials, and telling the US that ‘I won’t step into your country if you are going to insult me in this manner. “Had he done so, it would have been a slap on the face for America. The US views every Muslim as a terrorist,” it further stated.

The political party feels that the influential Khans of Bollywood, including SRK, should use their mass popularity and send out messages to the youth of Kashmir, showing them the right path.

“The Khans of Bollywood should take to Twitter to ‘show direction’ to misguided youth in Kashmir who are on a rampage,” the editorial mentioned.

This is the third time in last seven years that Shah Rukh was detained at a US airport.
