Two years after their last collaboration, ‘Yodha’ (2024), the actor is in advanced talks to headline Dharma Productions’ new project. Sources reveal that the film is an emotionally intense drama exploring complex relationships — will be directed by Sharan Sharma, known for ‘Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl’ (2020) and ‘Mr & Mrs Mahi’ (2024).

Sidharth Malhotra, Karan Johar Reunite For Their 7th Film

Sources indicate Sidharth Malhotra will team up with mentor Karan Johar again for a relationship drama, their seventh collaboration since ‘Student of the Year’. They have completed 7 major projects together, all turning out to be hits. A source told Midday, “The studio is eager to work with Sidharth again and believes the subject aligns well with his persona. He liked the concept when it was shared last year. He gave a verbal nod then, wanting to read the script before a formal commitment. Now, it’s in the final stages of discussion.”

If everything proceeds smoothly, the film could go on floors by summer 2026 and will be shot in Mumbai.
