Sonali Bendre: I was panicking as my eyesight was doing strange things due to chemotherapy

Actress Sonali Bendre, who has been undergoing a treatment for Cancer in New York, recently shared an update about her health, and how she couldn’t read for a while due to the ongoing treatment. Yes, while announcing the latest book for her book club, the actress revealed how the chemotherapy started having a side-effect on her eye-sight.

Sharing a picture of herself with the new book for her book club, Sonali wrote, “Time to announce the next book! The last one took a while, as my eyesight was doing strange things due to the chemo and I couldn’t read for a while. Was panicking a bit, but now all is well again! Whew! The next book for SBC is set in the city I’m currently in, New York… it’s called A Little Life by @hanyayanagihara. It’s been nominated for so many literary awards and is a story of friendship and ambition. We’ve read books with female friendships before, but this is our first one on friendship among boys… Should be interesting. Can’t wait to start reading it, and I hope you read it with me too. SonalisBookClub”

We are so glad that everything is fine with her now and that the actress can go back to her love i.e reading books.

Sonali had recently attended Priyanka Chopra’s bridal shower and she simply couldn’t contain her happiness. Sharing a picture with Priyanka and Neetu Kapoor from the shower, Sonali had posted, “It’s always lovely to be part of someone’s special moment and more so when it’s a dear friend. It’s great to see that in the middle of the treatment, Sonali is taking time out for things that she loves and also spending quality time with the people she loves being around.
