INSIDE PICS! Sonam Kapoor celebrates son Vayu’s first birthday with a special puja and lunch

Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja’s son Vayu turned one on 20th August. The couple celebrated their baby boy’s birthday in Delhi with family. Sonam took to her Instagram and shared a bunch of photos, giving fans a glimpse into her son’s birthday celebrations. To celebrate Vayu’s special day, the couple hosted a puja, as well as lunch.

Sonam shared the pics and wrote in the caption, “Our Vayu turned 1 yesterday. We did a lovely puja and lunch with the family. Thank you so much to the universe for giving us our blessing. #everydayphenomenal #vayusparents Special thanks to @ranipinklove for making a beautiful themed puja and lunch… love you. Also thank you to @kavitasinghinteriors for the beautiful mandir she’s given us.”

For Vayu’s special day, the family opted for traditional outfits. Vayu looked cute as a button in a turquoise kurta and white pants. In the first photo, Anand can be seen holding son Vayu during the puja at their Delhi home. In one of the candid photos, Sonam can be seen playing with her little munchkin. One photo was a family picture where Sonam’s parents Anil Kapoor and Sunita Kapoor posed with Anand’s parents.

Sonam’s mother-in-law also shared photos on her Instagram and wrote in the caption, “Its just a year since you are born, but you have given us so many sweet memories to cherish for us for our lifetimes! Happy 1^st Birthday to our little star. We love your lovely squeals, your hilarious laughs and your eyes full of naughtiness and wonder. You make our life beautiful my darling Vayu. Lots of love & God’s blessings Always. May the Almighty keep you under His Loving Care.”

Sonam and Anand tied the knot in 2018. They welcomed their first child, a baby boy Vayu last year. Since then, they have been enjoying parenthood.

On the work front, Sonam was last seen in Shome Makhija’s Blind. She is yet to announce her next project.
