Sonam Kapoor: I am not defending Janhvi over something my friend Katrina said

Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor has got a strange relation with controversies, hasn’t she? The ‘Aisha’ actress as we all know, is a very outspoken personality and goes by the principle of calling spade a spade. Now, Sonam has offered a clarification over her comments on defending her sister Janhvi Kapoor. Katrina Kaif during a show had said that Janhvi wears very ‘short shorts’.

Sonam took to her Twitter account and wrote, “Guys I wasn’t defending janhvi over something my very dear friend Katrina might have innocently said. It’s an inside joke with my sister on her gym looks that get papped. Pls don’t create drama mediawallas.”

This clarification comes after Sonam had taken to Instagram to share a picture of her cousin in denim shorts and shirt, which she captioned, “She also wears regular clothes and rocks it.” Many took Sonam’s Instagram story as a jibe at Katrina.

Katrina Kaif recently appeared on Neha Dhupia’s show ‘BFFs with Vogue’ alongside her friend Anaita Shroff Adajania. Neha Dhupia asked Katrina Kaif to name a celebrity who actually goes over the top with his or her gym and workout look.

In response to this question, the ‘Bharat’ actress said, “Not OTT but I am concerned about the very, very short shorts that Jahnvi wears! She comes to my gym as well, so we, often are together in the gym. I just worry about her sometimes.”

Sonam Kapoor by issuing a statement has now cleared the controversy once and for all.
