Sonam Kapoor comes out in support of Kanika Kapoor; Netizens roast her with hilarious memes

Ever since Kanika Kapoor confirmed that she is Covid-19 positive, reports of her negligence are all over the internet. Netizens bashed the ‘Baby Doll’ singer for not practising self-isolation despite returning from London. Instead of taking precautionary measures, Kanika was seen attending parties and playing Holi.

Now, actress Sonam Kapoor came out in support of Kanika. However, the ‘Neerja’ actress was bashed by the netizens as they couldn’t find any merit in the post which she shared in the support of Kanika.

Several Bollywood celebs such as Rishi Kapoor, Sona Mohapatra and Bappi Lahiri expressed their concern over how Kanika can act so irresponsibly.

Now Sonam tried to remind everyone how India was not self-isolating but playing Holi and Kanika came back in India on 9th March. “Hey, guys @TheKanikakapoor came back on the 9th. India was not self-isolating but playing Holi,” Sonam wrote in defence of the ‘Baby Doll’ singer.

But netizens couldn’t find any logic in Sonam’s argument and soon they roasted her with hilarious memes. One of the users reminded the actress how the concerned authorities had requested people to refrain from gathering and playing Holi.
