Off late Sonu Sood is grabbing headlines for all the right reasons. On Sunday (June 7) he met Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray. The actor later took to his twitter handle to thank the CM for all the support he offered to help him in his ‘Ghar Bhejo’ initiative.

Over the last two weeks, Sonu has been working consistently to help the stranded migrant workers reach their home safely amidst the nationwide lockdown owing to the Coronavirus pandemic. Yesterday the actor met Maharashtra’s Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray.

Maharashtra cabinet minister Aaditya Thackeray shared a picture from their meeting. Sharing the picture, Aaditya wrote, “This evening @SonuSood met up with @CMOMaharashtra Uddhav Thackeray ji along with Minister @AslamShaikh_MLA ji and me. Better Together, Stronger Together to assist as many people through as many people. Good to have met a good soul to work for the people together.”

In his other tweet, Aaditya mentioned, “The CM @OfficeofUT was glad to meet @SonuSood and discussed the work everyone is doing for the people during covid relief. Misunderstandings don’t exist but what does is a commitment to help people.”

Sonu shared retweeting Aaditya’s tweet wrote, “Was a pleasure. Thank you for all the support offered to help my migrant brothers reunite with their families.” He also wrote, “Humanity above all.”

Interestingly, it was only yesterday when Shiv Sena’s Sanjay Raut had taken a jibe at Sonu and said that he is doing everything for the migrants with an ulterior motive. Perhaps that was the misunderstanding Aaditya was talking about in his tweet.
