“Why are you after star kids?”; Twitter asks Karan Johar as he introduces Suniel Shetty’s son

Karan Johar often turns a godfather to many newcomers in Bollywood; and the list includes Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Sidharth Malhotra and more. However, his followers have often wondered if he would groom a talented outsider with the same enthusiasm; something that he shows for children of his B-town colleagues and friends.

Johar, last night, took to Twitter to introduce Ahan Shetty, Suniel Shetty’s son and confirmed his debut under the banner of Sajid Nadiadwala production. “In full on training mode….a star in the waiting…..INTRODUCING #AHANSHETTY …congratulations to Sajid Nadiadwala…@SunielVShetty,” he wrote.

While some directly questioned why he was always behind star kids, some taunted him for finally discovering this ‘star in making’.
