Today, the funeral of Sunjay Kapur is scheduled to take place in Delhi. Actress Karisma, Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan were spotted at Kalina airport as they departed to pay their final respects. Sunjay Kapur, the former husband of Karisma and an industrialist, reportedly passed away in the UK at the age of 53 due to a massive heart attack.

Earlier today, Karisma Kapoor was also seen leaving for Delhi with her children to attend the funeral of her ex-husband. Several photos and videos of the actress en route to the ceremony are now circulating widely on social media. Her sister, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and her husband, Saif Ali Khan, were also seen leaving the Juhu Airport. The couple were seen jolting in speed to avoid being papped.

When the news of the businessman’s death broke, Kareena Kapoor and her husband, Saif Ali Khan, visited Karisma at her Mumbai residence. Karisma’s close friends Malaika Arora and Amrita Arora, along with her husband Shakeel Ladak, also visited her to offer their condolences.

Businessman and polo player Sunjay Kapur died of a heart attack on June 12. His tragic passing has left netizens in shock, largely due to reports that he died after swallowing a bee. His sudden death has sparked widespread discussions on social media. The sting in his throat allegedly triggered a fatal heart attack. Kapur was the patron of his polo team, Aureus. He was competing against Sujan, a team owned by hotelier Jaisal Singh. He is survived by Priya Sachdev and their son, Azarius.

Karisma Kapoor married Sunjay Kapur in 2003. However, their marriage was a bittersweet one. They separated in 2014 and were officially divorced in 2016.
