Sunjay Kapur’s Sister Mandhira Speaks In Support Of Karisma Kapoor’s Kids Samaira, Kiaan; Accuses Priya Sachdev Of ‘Major Theft’ For Not Paying Fees

Sunjay Kapur’s sister, Mandhira, has spoken out publicly about the ongoing legal dispute concerning her brother’s estate and will. In a recent interview, she expressed strong support for Karisma Kapoor’s children, Samaira and Kiaan, and criticized Priya Kapur for her role in the controversy.

Madhira Clarifies That Samaira Is Sunjay Kapur’s Biological Duagher Not Safira

During her appearance on the InControversial Podcast, Mandhira clarified the familial relationships, stating that Samaira is Sunjay Kapur’s biological daughter, while Safira, Priya’s daughter from her first marriage, is considered a stepdaughter. She pointed out that Safira has been named in the will, but emphasized that her brother’s true daughter is Samaira, and questioned Priya’s actions in trying to alter this narrative.

Mandhira accused Priya Kapur of attempting to “rewrite lineage” by calling Safira the daughter in the will, despite Sunjay’s clear biological ties to Samaira. She highlighted that Sunjay’s estate battle has become a court case, with her brother’s sister alleging that Priya is trying to erase her brother’s bloodline and claim the legacy for her own children, Safira and Azarius.

She remarked, “Safira has been called the daughter in the will. Samaira is the daughter, not Safira. Safira is the stepdaughter. Her biological father is alive.” Mandhira also questioned how Priya could do this to the family, saying, “Nobody is denying that my brother cared for Safira. But don’t take over when Samaira is there. Don’t name Safira ‘the daughter.’ She is the stepdaughter. Stop rewriting lineage.”

Mahdira Points Out Bloopers In Sunjay’s Will

Addressing the contents of the will, Mandhira pointed out that it omits Sunjay’s biological children with Karisma Kapoor—Samaira and Kiaan—instead mentioning only Priya, Azarius, and Safira. She criticized the accuracy of the document, calling out ‘bloopers’ such as misspelled names and incorrect addresses, which she described as “giveaways” that cast doubt on the legitimacy of the document.

She further accused Priya of engaging in “major theft,” asserting that her children are being deprived of what is rightfully theirs. “Those two kids, Samaira and Kiaan — they’ve lost their best friend. And now they’re being robbed of everything that is rightfully theirs. Who is she not to pay the school fees? It’s not her money. This is major theft. Major fraud,” Mandhira stated passionately.

The dispute continues to unfold in court, with Mandhira and others defending Sunjay Kapur’s true lineage and legacy. It raises questions about the authenticity and motives behind the contested will.
