And, now we have a chance of knowing the real truth about Sunny Leone. As the actress has decided to tell her story through her biopic, ‘Karenjit Kaur-The untold story of Sunny Leone‘. The biopic which is a web-series will see Sunny playing herself and Rysa Saujani, as young Sunny.

During a recent interaction, she spoke about telling her story to people. “Actually I didn’t say the story needs to be told, other people told me it’s a story that needs to be told. We want the story to be more than what people are expecting. It’s been an amazing journey,” she said.

Talking about the controversies surrounding her and some people blaming her for instigating rape, she said, “I don’t see myself as a victim, a soft target maybe. I believe people should have a right to say what they want to. They all had their own journey that they take. Most of the time I brush it off. It’s nonsense. The rational people know it’s nonsense. It gets on my nerves sometimes, does it hurt me, no.

She also spoke about the porn industry and how it is a personal choice. “It’s a very personal choice. We don’t talk about this, it’s personal for most people. Otherwise, it would be an industry down the tube, not flourishing,” she said.

Born Karenjit Kaur Vohra, Sunny was first seen in the television reality show, ‘Bigg Boss’. She then made her Bollywood debut with ‘Jism 2’ which was directed by Pooja Bhatt. The most recent controversy Sunny found herself amidst was when she was denied permission to perform on New Year’s Eve in Bangalore.
