Later, Govinda’s manager, Shashi Sinha, confirmed the withdrawal of the divorce plea and expressed his views on the matter. In an interview with NDTV, he stated that while the decision was a positive development, he questioned why the issue was allowed to escalate so publicly in the first place. “The couple’s differences played out in the media for nearly one-and-a-half to two years, causing unnecessary damage to their reputation,” Sinha said.

Sinha further questioned Sunita’s initial decision to file for divorce. He asked, “There was no need for people to know about it. Matters concerning the family could have been discussed and resolved privately, within the home. If the intention was to withdraw the case today, then why was it filed in the first place? That is what saddens me.”

He added that Govinda had no reaction to the recent development. The manager expressed hope for better understanding and wisdom among those involved. “May God grant wisdom to everyone and may people act sensibly. That is what is best,” he said.
