Sunny Leone is one of the gorgeous and loved actresses of B-town. In the initial days of her career in the Bollywood industry, it was not easy for her as she had to go through lots of judgements. Many of you might have watched Sunny Leone’s biopic, Karenjit Kaur, and you saw that success did not come easy to her. She had her shares of lows in her life as well. In Bollywood Bubble’s Her Story Season 2, Sunny opens her heart out about motherhood, parents’ death, facing racism and a lot more.

Today, Sunny is a mother of three kids. On motherhood, she said, “I am not an young parent. I am not someone in my early 20s trying to still figure out life. Having a child young is amazing but I didn’t have. I really wanted children and so did my husband. We wanted to see them in every little tiny issue. We have more seperation anxiety than the children. They don’t want us to be around 24 hours and now that there are a little bit older, they definitely enjoy time with their friends and all these different things. They also have their own space to be free and safe from everything that’s going on outside. But they are really good children.”

Sunny lost her mother in 2008 and two years later, in 2010, she lost her father to cancer. When asked if it was difficult to deal with the loss of her parents, she said, “I have my mother-in-law who is still alive. She is really important to us. We lost Daniel’s father before the pandemic started. Of course you want your parents to live forever but there are things that are out of our control which is life and death. It’s not something that you can prepare for no matter how much you want to you can’t. They were sick for long time, like my father was sick for a very long time and I could see it was the beginning of the end because you could see them deteriorating over weeks and months and there is nothing you can do or prepare you all of a sudden or there’s nothing that prepares you for a slow death”.

She added, “As a parents we can be the best versions of ourself and be healthy and atleast do the basics of keeping ourselves healthy.”
