Sushant Singh Rajput Case: NCB files chargesheet in NDPS court; Rhea Chakraborty and others named

Sushant Singh Rajput breathed his last on June 14. The actor’s untimely and tragic death had sent shockwaves throughout the country. Sushant’s death case is still being investigated by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) and Enforcement Directorate (ED).

Previously, NCB had made several arrests in the drugs case linked to Sushant’s death case. Now according to the ANI report, the latest development in the case states that NCB has filed a charge sheet in this drugs case in Special NDPS court today. Sushant’s former girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty, her brother Showik Chakraborty and several others have been accused in this case.

Sharing an update on the case, ANI tweeted, “Mumbai: Narcotics Control Bureau to file charge sheet in Sushant Singh Rajput related drug case in Special NDPS court today. Actor Rhea Chakraborty, her brother and others are accused in the case.”

NCB had arrested Rhea, her brother Showik Chakraborty and several others in connection to the drugs case that surfaced in Sushant’s death case. After spending almost a month behind the bars, Rhea was granted bail.

Apart from Chakraborty siblings, NCB had also grilled several B-town celebs like Deepika Padukone, Rakul Preet Singh, Sara Ali Khan, Shraddha Kapoor and others. More details on NCB’s chargesheet is awaited. Until then, stay tuned to this space.
