Sushant Singh Rajput’s sister Shweta Singh Kirti has responded to the latest updates in the investigation into the death case of Disha Salian. She has expressed renewed hope that the mysteries surrounding the case will eventually be uncovered. Disha Salian, who briefly worked as a celebrity manager for Sushant Singh Rajput, died on June 8, 2020, reportedly after falling from a high-rise building in Mumbai’s Malad area. Shweta Singh Kirti On Bombay HC Order Bringing Hope Via Disha Salian Case

Shweta Singh Kirti shared a video on September 3 addressing the recent developments. She mentioned the Bombay High Court’s decision regarding the investigation. Shweta said it had given hope to supporters of Sushant Singh Rajput. In her words, “Truth can be tensed up, but it’ll never fail. These words spoken by Disha’s lawyer are giving hope to our hearts. The recent developments and CBI investigation in Bombay HC regarding Disha’s case have given hope to all the SSRians too.” She also posted a longer note reflecting on the court proceedings and her faith that the truth will emerge one day.

Bombay High Court Orders CBI Probe

The Bombay High Court’s directive came on September 2 during a petition hearing filed by Disha Salian’s father, Satish Salian. As reported by Live Law, the court instructed the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to register an FIR. It also ordered a comprehensive investigation into her death. The court also ordered the appointment of an investigating officer and the recording of Satish Salian’s statement. The investigation aims to explore all aspects and circumstances related to the case.

It clarified that being named or mentioned in the proceedings does not automatically make someone an accused; a person should only be considered an accused if the investigation provides sufficient evidence. Satish Salian had approached the court, raising concerns about the handling of the original investigation. He alleged lapses and called for a fresh probe. It includes allegations of sexual assault and murder, questioning the initial investigation process.
