Sushant Singh Rajput’s family has accused his girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty of abetment of suicide. However later on the basis of the facts that emerged from the investigation, they are now suspecting that Sushant was murdered.

Yesterday, the Supreme Court finally ordered CBI investigation in Sushant’s death case, following which the late actor’s family lawyer Vikas Singh said that not even once Rhea’s lawyer mentioned the case to be handed over to CBI during the entire hearing. He even accused Rhea of showing her ‘double face’.

In an interview with Zoom TV, Vikas Singh said, “Rhea Chakraborty has shown her double face at every given point in this case. Her lawyer not even once mentioned in the entire hearing that he would want this case transferred to CBI. He argued till the end that we want Mumbai Police only to investigate the case but now that she’s lost, she’s doing face-saving. She just keeps proving that all the allegations against her are true.”

Whereas Rhea reacting to the SC’s verdict in a statement through her lawyer had said, “The Hon’ble Supreme Court after examining the facts and circumstances of the case and the report of the Mumbai police has observed that it will be the desired justice as Rhea herself called for a CBI investigation. Since the court has transferred the investigation to CBI invoking its powers under Article 142 of the Constitution of India, she will appear and face the investigation by the CBI as she has done earlier with the Mumbai Police and the Enforcement Directorate. Rhea maintains that the truth will remain the same whichever agency investigates the case.”

With the case finally being probed by CBI it has to be seen what new turns this case takes now. We all are hoping to find answers to the several questions raised due to Sushant’s unfortunate death.
