Swara Bhasker gives a befitting reply to a Twitter user who criticized her for her TikTok tweet

Swara Bhasker is known for expressing her opinions and views fearlessly on social media. She expresses herself regardless of what anyone thinks about her. The actress is often at the receiving end of trolls and criticism. Swara recently spoke about the TikTok controversy and bashed the ones making inappropriate content that shows aggression and violence against women.

This did not go down well with a section of netizens and she was brutally trolled. But, Swara made sure to school a user about how to be respectful towards a woman.

Swara took to her Twitter handle to share a video, that indirectly promotes acid attack against women. In her tweet she wrote, “Hey @TikTok_IN why and how are you allowing this kind of content -which is SO obviously celebrating and promoting aggression and violence against women, and perpetuating false misogynistic stereotypes -to be published & viewed freely on your platform??? #Shame”

A user replied to her tweet saying, that actors as well do the same in films and so are the TikTokers, why does she not raise her voice against them. The user commented, “आप लोग मूवीज़ में नही दिखाते ??फिर तो वो भी ग़लत है ?मतलब एक बंदे ने एक narrative सेट कर दिया उसके पीछे कूद पड़ो ?कर तो वो भी ऐक्टिंग रहा है ?” He continued, “मैं उसका किसी प्रकार से समर्थन नही करता हूँ बस तुमसे सवाल कर रहा हूँ”

But, Swara hit back saying he should show some manners first, as she replied,“आपसे सवाल” – गुरप्रीत जी.. तमीज़ से बात करें- हम दोस्त नहीं हैं! ‘आपके’ सवाल का दूसरे tweet में जवाब है। (Aapse sawal – Gurpreet Ji, tameez se baat karo, hum dost nahi hai! Aapke sawal ka dusre tweet mein jawab hai)”

The ‘Veere Di Wedding’ actress replying to the user’s question said, “Every time films have promoted or ‘normalized’ anti-women pranks, sexist stereotypes or gender-based violence — which has often happened — many people have questioned it! What is your problem with questions? And yes .. it is wrong to romanticize violence on women!????‍♀️”
