Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt are going all out to promote the next song from their upcoming film ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’, titled ‘Tamma Tamma Again.’

The couple also met the actors that featured in the original iconic number from the movie ‘Thanedaar’, Sanjay Dutt and Madhuri Dixit, for their consent on the same. And Sanjay and Madhuri did show their excitement over it on social media and praised the recreated number.

But it is the choreographer of the original track, Saroj Khan, who thinks that Alia Bhatt cannot match up to the dancing queen, Madhuri Dixit. When asked to comment on the song, she says, “I will comment only after the song is out and I have seen it”. But on being asked to share her expectations, she says, “Varun is a good dancer and I know he will be able to do it (the steps) well, but I don’t know if Alia will be able to match up to Madhuri. In any case, it will be a feather in Alia’s cap.” (Also Read: Watch: Madhuri Dixit teaching Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan ‘Tamma Tamma’ step is the best!)

Varun and Alia visited Madhuri to learn the hook step of the original ‘Tamma Tamma’. When asked if she feels the film makers should have asked her to choreograph the new song, she adds, “Maybe, they think that Masterji (referring to herself) has become old and Madhuri Dixit hasn’t. That’s why they have called her.”

Remembering the time she choreographed for the original in 1990, she says, “I told the makers I’d take a month to train Sanjay for the song and he agreed. My assistants used to go to another set to rehearse with him.”

We desperately wait for ‘Tamma Tamma Again’ now.
